Nixe has experience of designing and implementing a number of different networking topologies and integrating topologies together. Our experience includes the entire lifecycle of designing and building a network from dealing with suppliers, construction, configuration and administration. Nixe has experience in a wide range of network equipment including CISCO, 3COM, HP and Ascend installing and configuring hubs, switches, routers, access servers and firewalls (CISCO PIX and ipchains and iptables). Nixe can help you achieve your networking goals whether it be LAN, WAN, ISDN, VPN, RAS or voice over IP.
  Installation
 

Nixe can install a network including:
 
  • determining network requirements and the ordering of equipment
  • receiving equipment from and managing third party suppliers
  • mounting the equipment in racks
  • connecting the equipment to the existing network
  Configuration
 

Once installed, Nixe will configure the equipment for your business. Not only will the network be tuned for optimum business use but the new equipment will be tuned to allow interaction with any pre-existing network.
 

Administration
 

Nixe can also supply network administration services, either on a network designed and installed by Nixe or the administration of a pre-existing network. Services include:

 
  • the checking of network logs to proactively identify and prevent network problems
  • the fine tuning of the network
  • trouble shooting network problems
  • capacity planning
