IFCO is a leader in intelligent supply chain systems and services. IFCO delivers supply chain solutions, such as round-trip container management, pallet management services and industrial container services.

When IFCO established in Argentina, they required a logistics tracking system for containers. Nixe provided a bespoke multilingual system that enabled IFCO to track containers and manage their customers. This was developed in Visual Basic. The work was carried out from our Buenos Aires office.

Carrefour SA is a large scale retailer of groceries and consumer goods (distributed in Carrefour, Euromarche & Viniprix), and carpets (distributed in Mondial Moquette). It operates 680 Carrefour hypermarkets & supermarkets in 26 countries including France, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, the USA, Mexico, and Asia.

In Argentina, Carrefour required an application to enable the control of contract staff that were used to stock each supermarket. Each contractor was required to have the appropriate insurance, security permissions and health and safety clearance before they were allowed access to a store.

Nixe provided a bespoke database security system. This allowed contractor security passes to be scanned which would then determine if an individual contractor had the required documentation or not.
