Through terminal and data feed products, Telerate supplies data, analytics and news for the fixed income, foreign exchange, money, derivatives and energy markets to more than 90,000 users globally.

Nixe was asked to help standardise the look and feel of the telerate data feed. Nixe responded by creating a user friendly, supplier independent, system that could be used to generate and edit screen templates for the Unix feed system.



Instituto de Ayuda Financiera


Client overview
As part of the Argentine Ministry of Defence, the function of the Instituto de Ayuda Financiera is to pay salaries of the armed forced and also the administration of the pensions of armed forces personnel.

Nixe was invited to help establish the IT department for the Instituto de Ayuda Financiera. This included:
  • the build and administration of data and application servers
  • the creation of new policies for security and system backups
  • the design and administration of IP, WAN and LAN
